Soundbar not glued with hideglue
Quality of the violin overall appears to be okay. I removed the sound bar to regraduate the top plate and discovered it was not hide glued. Damaged top plate a bit, which was disappointing. For the price, though, it seems to be a good enough deal

Fun
If you just want to glue the top of a violin onto a completely finished violin, this kit is for you. Then you can buy some violin varnish online and brush it on for your own, "handmade" instrument.
