Drive Medical Aluminum Rollator Walker Fold Up and Removable Back Support, Padded Seat, 6" Wheels, Red

I bought this for my mother and it preforming quite well for her. This is the shorter of the two models (based on wheel height) and was the right choice for my mother's size. It is light enough that no one has had an issue putting in a vehicle. It folds up easily and I have seen some suggestions where people have used bungee cords to hold it in the folded position. It fits fine, unfolded and standing up, in the back of my Rav4. Assembly was easy enough with no problems encountered. It is quite sturdy and well made.

i have never left a review on any of my purchases before, but i HAVE to post a 5 out of 5 star review and say how very pleased I am with this rollator!!!! I bought this because i wanted more mobility in stores/places where there aren't electric scooters, shopping carts, or benches to sit on when i need to rest. i carry a heavy portable oxygen tank over my shoulder and my purse, and w/o some kind of support or a bench to sit on, i can sometimes get in a bad way quickly. but now if i know i'm going somewhere where they may not have benches or carts, then i'll just take this along with me and have my own seat! AND the seat lifts up so i can put my oxygen tank in there and my purse if they get too heavy, and scoot around with the seat up. this rollator comes with a removable nylon bag under the seat, but i've ordered a wire basket from another online store that i think i'll get more use from and will also be better support for my portable O2 tank. so, on to my review... WOW, this is so sturdy, and slides out of the box nearly entirely ready to go! just had to insert the hand grip posts into holes, and put in a screw knob when they are the right height, and add the very nicely padded back rest, if you'd like. i'm 5'6 and had the hand grip bars set at the last hole. so if a person is much taller than that, the hand grips may be too low for them to be comfortable w/o hunching over. but for me it's PERFECT!!!! this Rollator glides so easily and is so smooth, with front wheels that turn all around, so cornering is easy. and fits through normal household doorways, too! i like that it easily collapses on itself by just lifting up the seat then pulling up on the strap that's underneath. and it spreads open easily when you're ready for it. brakes work great, too. no fear of it getting away from me while i'm sitting! so, that's my review. i think i covered everything except the color! i got the beautiful deep red. i love everything about this! if you need something to help you get around and give you more independence, please consider this. Oh, and the price is great, too!!!!

Fantastic!!! Exceeded all expectations!! Got for my 90 year old mother!! Much easier to use than standard walker. She is able to walk faster with greater maneuverability in her kitchen and apartment as well as farther and farther distances as she regains her strength and stability. It gave her the confidence she needed to push herself and go farther when she became aware she could sit down and rest if need be. Prior to using this, she was fearful of going very far walking as exercise , that she might feel weak and fall. 300% improvement in taking regular walks and mingling with residents since she uses this. Best purchase and bargain ever. She's going to social affairs, dr appts etc on her own again, even playing the organ for socials and friends. Made all the difference in giving her the confidence to continue to live alone as opposed to going to assisted living!! So happy and pleased!! Loves the storage under the seat for her stash of necessities and phone. No longer needs a purse Great Product!! Can't rave enough about this. A real "Quality Life" saver for mom! Heavy duty but light weight, folds easily. Not a single negative so far A 5+++

I love this walker. I have another one I have used for a year. This one is so much easier to use and much lighter. It is so much easier to fold up and put in my car. I was Leary that the wheels and back had to be put on. I am disabled and mechanically disinclined. I think it took all of ten minutes to put it together. My only regret is that I did not get it sooner.
