Since my laptop's card reader is on the blink (possibly unrelated but I did take my laptop to bits to upgrade the RAM; this did not go well) this product fills said functional gap.

This one, on the other hand, works perfectly, every time. So good value at £3.99.

Still works, not the fastest but gets the job done.
Sd card reader still works, but micro sd cards are no longer detected. Not that fast as its usb 2. Currently only use it in my xbox 360 and ps3.
