Inkpress Transparency, 7mil Resin Based Inkjet Film, 13x19", 20 Sheets

This product works great for doing photo plymer (solar) plates. I also use it for cyanotypes and screen printing. The only problems I have had using it have come from one printer which did not have the right settings to get a really good black. On all the other printers (Epson 3800s) I've have really good transparencies. Some other brands of film are thicker and cause odd problems when making plates. I have never had a problem using this film. Also all my screens turned with great images having a full range of values. The thin lines held and did not burn off the screen when developed. Inkpress also makes a good range of sizes. The size I purchased was the 13 x19 which turned out to be a good workable size. I would buy others sizes from this company.

Very nice film, worked well with both Canon and Epson printers. I could have wished it were more clear and less milky, but still very good product.

Perfect transparency for screen printing. Having the notch on one corner to denote the printing side is super helpful. Sheets came well packaged. Will order again.

After having tried a number of transparencies, (translucent and clear), I found that the Inkpress 7mil papers gave me the sharpest results with no 'ink drag' or running. I print with an Epson R1900 loaded with Ultrachrome H3 inks at a 13 x 19 size and I use Inkpress' suggestions that come with the papers. I use their ICC profile, (they offer all their profiles on their website), coupled with an Adobe RGB 1998 printer profile setting and Epson Premium Gloss paper setting. It takes my inks and Gloss optimizers with no problem and looks great in my lightboxes. Because the paper is absolutely clear, I use, (and recommend), a dimmer switch on the light box to cut back to about a 60-70 percent setting so I don't over drive the brightness. My light boxes are LED edge lit 22" x 16" Photoglows.

I purchased this product by mistake, but decided to keep it anyway. store owners would have replaced this item. I will see what uses I can get from a clear transparency.

I've just placed a 2nd order for this product because it works well. The first order, however, was slightly better in that it included a sheet of settings for printing on film. The 2nd order, from a different vendor (Bopo), did not. In case your order arrives without instructions, here are the critical printer settings:--- EPSON ---High Speed OFFPaper Setting: PREMIUM GLOSSYResolution: 1440dpi.--- CANON ---High Speed OFFPaper Setting: PHOTO PAPER PLUS GLOSSYIn addition, on my older Epson 2200, I find it necessary to feed from the back to get the straight path. Otherwise, the paper rollers have a hard time pulling the the film around the curve in the feed path.

Excellent product! Does everything as promised. Very clear film and holds ink well. Directions were clear and easy to follow
