I brought this to play Chess on the go, and whilst at the beach or on day trips and it is bloody brilliant, excellent craftsmanship, a good size (slightly bigger than a travel set and slightly smaller than the regular chess sets you see in homes

I love this set chess. It looks and feels like antique object and it is actually bigger than I expected, especially for this price. Very happy with the purchase

Would be five stars but for the size, size dimension are on the product and my fault for not reading or seller for not advertising clearly. The size is the sort of thing you get for a travel game you take on the plane or in a car.However this got 4 star as the quality and antique effect of the product is beautiful, if this was a standard chessboard size it would get a 6 stars, in fact i would put a review on every social media platform that existed

Cheap rubbish. The pieces are so small, that apart from the knight, it is difficult to tell which piece is which. I bought this as a Birthday present for my son & was totally embarrassed about how awful it was. The case come chess board is equally as cheap & has marks on it. Avoid.

Terrible do not buy ! The set is absolutely tiny, the latch is lose and doesn’t fit and everything else is just poorly finished and rushed. 30£? I wouldn’t have spent 5£ if I knew it was this bad. Embarrassing!!!!
