Eyewitness: Eagles & Birds of Prey

I bought this as research material for my daughter's first science project (2nd grade). The money was well spent. We thoroughly enjoyed reading it, even after the project was complete. The book is filled with wonderful illustrations, interesting facts and funny trivia about birds of prey from around the world. The scientific terms are well presented to make it easier to digest (either next to an illustration or in context of a fun fact). My daughter read the book all by herself and really, really liked it. It's now part of our science library collection. I do recommend this book for anyone interested to better and easily understand the amazing anatomy and behavior of the birds of prey.

This is an excellent book with a lot of technical detail all about the different birds of prey.I highly recommend it. It's especially good for those who are watching nest cams. You can answer any questions you might have by reading through this book.

After I bought my ten year old grandson, "Raptor", I didn't know if I could find another book that would thrill him as much. Again, I hit the jackpot with "Eagles, and Birds of Prey". He loves it. The text is great and is very educational without being dull.

This was a gift and by all accounts it is delighting the 7 year old boy I purchased it for. I did look before wrapping and it has lovely illustrations and great factual information

Nice photos and text. Purchased for my grandson's Christmas, he loved it.I didn't really get a chance to read all the way through it as he took it home, but what I saw was well done.

The entire huge series of Eyewitness books I have seen over the years is excellent. The large, colorful photographs engage kids quickly, and the text is clear and evocative. These are wonderful introductions to dozens of topics intriguing to kids.

Very interesting book- I got this for my 7-year old who was doing a research project at school on eagles. He loves the pictures that explain the differnt parts of an eagle.

This was a gift and my friend loved it-we looked at it together and the photos were awe-inspiring.
