Great oil paint
Pebeo offers excellent oil paints at very reasonable prices and convenient sizes. Great consistency. Should work for a variety of techniques.

not great quality oil color
I bought their cobalt blue once, and had not used any of their products before. It is clearly "study quality" or whichever term is used for low pigment, not great quality oil color. If you are used to firm oil color with a deep and more pure cobalt color, this is not it. Low quality paints are evident when a. they are liquidy and runny, and b. when you try to mix another color with it and it looks instead grey or chalky. Both are characteristics of Pebeo Studio Xl Fine Oil (Cobalt) paint. I wouldn't recommend it, even for beginners.
