Perkin PK1095 Hunting Knife with Sheath Fix Blade Knife

This is a full five star knife for me. I always carry a knife and I love fixed blades but this takes the cake it's fits in my hand perfect and is small to keep on me without showing off too much but it gets any job I need done

Love perkins have many this one came with rust on handle and blade still its 1095 perfect size and carrying ability wore it forgot it was on my side just like i like it. The rust is why its 4 stars if not for that 5

The handle looks cool ! And feels good in the hand , very sharp out of the box and use it almost every weekend around the house

So if you read any of my reviews, you will notice that I am fair and review based on facts. The pictures are the facts, since they tell you what the issues are. These pictures were taken as soon as I opened the package. Straight out of the bubble wrap, out of the box, not only does the knife already have rust on the tang part of the handle, but the buttons inside of the sheath is rusted and starting to corrode. Now, I live in southern Florida where the humidity is high year round, and the salt in the air is constant. I would expect to see this if I carried this knife in the sheath for at least a year without any maintenance to the leather (which the sheath is) or without any oil or silicone on the blade(which I do to all my tools down here). I did not expect a knife that looks like it's already been used to be delivered to me. Based on the price, this is a great knife, as long as it doesn't rust through before I get to use it. Hopefully the seller will make this right. If not, the review will lose a star.
