Still working as intended in rough conditions

small easy to install and so far the quality is great so far...my water tanks are full and not overflowing which is what i want...I can also use these in my self filling doggie water bowls and that is a plus...The price was very reasonable...Great Value!

Functions as expected. However... cannot give 5 stars based on description. I ordered these expecting them to be 3/4NPT, not physically measure 3/4 of an inch. They are in reality 1/2NPT. I had to buy adapters to make it work for my application instead of "plug and play".

These things are plastic and therefore are easy to break. In the past I would have to turn off the water supply and keep the pool filled by hand until I could get to the pool supply and buy another one. These came in a 4 pack so if one gets broken li have to do is take out another one and screw it into the supply pipe and we're up and running again. Perfect size and when I installed it the pool was full and it didn't leak. Now there's a steady trickle keeping the pool full.

Our church's fountain has had brass automatic fillers for years. Unfortunately after a year or two the valve seat would wear , leak and start overflowing the fountain. While easy to replace, it became more and more expensive and prompted us to switch to these plastic valves. So far they have held up very well for less $$$

They do work and they do the job, just not strong enough to last. I used one and that broke within 2 months. The plastic broke down with the intense heat of South Florida.

On my outdoor fountain, I awoke to a flooded backyard. The ball valve, despite an overfilled foutain from the rain, broke. The arm was up but kept flowing and it ran for hours. It's broken internally and missing a part that stops the water flow as the arm and ball are still attached. I removed it and when I blew through the device, it blows despite any movement of the arm which should make it flow on and off. I have the second one (if you blow into it, it shuts off if you lift the arm), but I won't trust it so I've installed it but will replace with another one. My was from China, X00273KK0T M0786 5.12 is what the packaging has on it.
