Installati i driver sulla workstation Z240 tutto ha funzionato al primo colpo. Peccato NON funzioni su Mac Pro con slot PCIe, dato che la scheda necessita di una connessione sulla motherboard HP per poter essere configurata. Attualmente siamo a livelli veramente elevati di qualità e di funzionalità. Consigliato a tutti i possessori di HP workstation (la compatibilità si legge sul sito web di HP stessa).

La instalamos según las instrucciones que venían con la tarjeta (poner en el slot 5). Además: - Instalamos el driver que venia con la tarjeta - Posteriormente encontramos otra documentación en la web de HP que decía que había que cambiar el jumper E3 (en la placa base) de la posición 2-3 a la 1-2 e hicimos dicho cambio. - El ordenador no reconocía un disco Lacie Rugged Thunderbolt 2 (lo veía pero no lo “montaba”). Daba el error que se ve en el adjunto. - Conectamos la Z 840 a internet para actualizar el driver, pero nos dijo que ya tenia el driver más actual. - Actualizamos la BIOS a la ultima versión encontrada en su web (sp85295.exe). - Seguía dando el mismo error. - Instalamos el software “HP Support Assistant”. - Actualizamos el Sistema operativo (Windows 7 Professional) - Actualizamos software de Intel que venia con el equipo (utilizando el HP Support Assistant) - Seguía dando el mismo error. - Instalamos drivers de Lacie de Thunderbolt para Windows. - Seguía dando el mismo error. - Hemos buscado ayuda en el centro de soporte web. - No conseguimos ningún resultado. Siempre da el mismo error. - Los software utilizados (HP Support Assistant y HP Advisor) no detectan problemas - En la web no encontramos correo de soporte. Con las pruebas se nos ha pasado el periodo de prueba y no podemos devolverlo.

Worked for a bit on my z840 then stopped working. I think the issue is related to the order in which I Introduced the card and the peripheral to each other rather than anything to do with the card. I did not quite follow the instructions the second time around as the device was already plugged in when I reinstalled windows this 'saw' the peripheral before the drivers were installed. Now, even thought the drivers are installed, it refuses to talk to the sound interface even though my old machine still works fine with the device. Btw, I don't think this specific card is at fault so much as thunderbolt tech in general for pcs that don't have it built in from the off. But since that's an intrinsic part of this product, 2 stars.
