I bought several of these and used the first one to install a PoE camera on the side of my home. I already had the outlet and wiring, but needed a waterproof receptacle to run the cable and allow some flexibility. These units are really innovative; they have an opening which when put in the bottom allows cable to come out without letting water get in. They are flexible enough to allow movement and easy installation, and they look really nice, to boot!I'm glad I found these. I have several more cameras to install and I'll continue to use these.This camera has been up for 6 months or more, and there's been zero water ingress despite some pretty torrential downpours during that time.

This item was super easy to install and gives us the peace of mind we needed for safety. Our pool filter plug is very close to the pool and our kids love to plush around. This product completely protects the plug from water splashes, rain, and the winter elements. Super fast shipping and durable. It even stretches out for larger plugs. Highly recommend.

Have purchased these at a big box store and they are great. I purchased 4 on Amazon and they are cheaper and same ones... 0 issues and highly recommend. Easy install. Work great. Look great.

Overall it is great. Replaced several old cracked hard plastic covers. These look better and I like how much less they stick out when not in use. Several plug shapes to choose from is nice.Only downside is they aren’t quite deep enough to fully close if you are using a straight plug with a heavy gauge cord like a 10 or even 12 gauge, depending on the stiffness of the cord.

I have purchased these before from 1 of the box stores for my backyard but hese were at a better price on Amazon so I had to purchase another for additional exterior electrical project. Keeps the water out, 100%.

Only concern would be the longevity of the 'accordion' expandable rubber and the two plastic locking tabs. Won't know this until some time has passed. One outlet is always in the shade and one outlet (not yet installed) does have direct sun exposure for part of the day. Thought about installing it in such a way as never have direct sun exposure. This should contribute to the longevity of both outlet covers.

Didn't work for me cause it wasn't deep enough but it's a nice cover.

El único "pero" es que no con todos los tipos de contactos queda, aunque trae carátulas intercambiables, tuve que comprar un contacto que le quedara bien.Es la caja para exteriores ideal para proteger tus contactos y conexiones.

This cover was good quality and worked better than I expected. I was able to close the cover with a cord plugged in, although it has to have a relatively small plug. Extension cords that have larger plugs won't fit under this cover with it closed. The bellows does squeeze larger plugs and can bend the cord abruptly, but that's no different than other weather covers.The cover looks nice and it's compact which is perfect. I've only had it a few months so I don't know how it will hold up with time, but the materials seemed durable while I was installing it. I probably would't use this on an outdoor outlet I use daily, but I plan to buy a few more for my other outdoor outlets, which I only use once every few weeks or months.

I've tryed other outlet covers that often get damaged when not in use because of their high profile. This unit is definitely low profile when not in use and it's easy to install. The other units turn yellow with exposure to UV rays and that's not cool. I haven't had this item for long but time will tell. I recommend this product for now.

Me gustó mucho la idea y concepto de este protector de toma corrientes-apagado exterior con riesgo de salpicaduras de agua. Lo compré pensando en instalarlo junto con un toma corriente tipo GfCI que pondría en el jardín donde está la alberquita de los niños. La verdad es una maravilla, menos riesgos de descarga eléctrica con los niños cerca.
