While my daughter loves this duvet set for the color combination and pattern, I can't stand it because the down comforter, also twin sized, keeps bunching to one side or another. It's been a real pain in the posterior making her bed every day because I have to dig for the corners in order whip the comforter out straight. Ugh, so annoying.

Pretty! The only thing I don't like is that the white material is thin and you can see the color of the comforter inside it.

I loved the bold colors but it didn’t wash well. After 4 months, the green is already fading. Not worth it at all.

Well, we just got this today, and of course that meant it had to go on the bed immediately. We already had a white comforter to put into it, so we did that right away. Have purchased duvets before, some have ties at the inside corners to secure the comforter to the duvet, but this one did not have that. That is a bit of a minus because we all know that the inner comforter will shift inside the duvet. The color is listed as lavender, but as soon as my daughter saw it, she said it was more pink. The color on the picture is a good representative of what you will get, so just decide for yourself if that is more pink or more lavender. Needless to say, it did not match the magenta-ish dust ruffle she had on her bed, so that did not bode well for this duvet cover. Anyways, we put the duvet cover on, as well as the shams, but my daughter would only say that she didn't like it. Sad face time. The fabric is a very smooth, almost a shiny material. Being that it is winter in Michigan, it does not make a cozy type of comforter cover for a bed. We love our flannel and fleece sheets in the winter, but this just feels cold in this weather unfortunately. This cover would be more reasonable in spring or summer time. I can't speak about how it holds up after washing, but I really wouldn't expect this color to bleed onto the white like the dark colors might.I suppose we were just kind of hoping this would match with her room and decor, and it really doesn't. It doesn't mean it is a bad item or bad quality, it just isn't what we were hoping for. Still, I told her she is keeping it on her bed for awhile. That makes her love me even more.

Cabana Stripe Kids 3-Piece Duvet Cover Set, Lavender.First off not sure why this is called Kids since really could be used for anyone.The color is closer to pink than purple on the color spectrum.This works well enough for our needs. I put it over a white comforter in spare room that I just love.I am not loving the feel of this though it is still soft enough just the duvet that it is covering is so very soft and I loved the feeling of that just not the plain white of it. This has a bit of a slickish feel to it or maybe slippery is a better word.It is different than others I have used because there is no way to really secure the ends of the duvet to keep it from bumching up.Others I have used in previous years has a place to slide the buttons over on the inside to secure the duvet while inside of it.When on a bed it really does give it a nice crisp clean look. So because it is just on the spare bed it is working out ok.Originally thought my daughter would want it for her room but once opened she said no because just not quite the right color for her liking. The price point seems a bit high for what you are getting and there just seems to be better ones on the market at this time.

I love the color of this set (lavender, to the pinkish side of the definition). It is cheerful and bold. It matches our bedroom colors so that works for us. These washed up very true to size without any change at all. I'm a fabric hound so once I touched this I could feel the polyester right away. I don't consider 55% cotton "cotton rich". It just feels artificial to me.On the flip side, my husband loves the pillowcases as they keep his head cool at night. He has heavy night sweats and found he had a more pleasant night with this sham. The shams have an open end without any closure. The duvet cover has a button closure.Like any duvet cover this is a royal pain to put on and an ongoing struggle to keep the comforter from bunching. However this full/ queen is generously sized. The shams also accommodated a regular and queen sized pillow (this last by a hair but I count that)So we each have something we like about this set. If you really like the feel of 100% cotton this will not be a satisfying experience. However the color is very winning.
