Rockford Fosgate R1-HD4-9813 160 Watt RMS 4 Channel Motorcycle/Harley Amplifier and Complete Speaker System - Includes All Wiring and Mounting Hardware, Closed Loop Design Maximizes Output

The system works well, but it's a virtual nightmare trying to find speaker covers for the speakers. My original ones were shot, so it would have been nice to have new ones with the kit. As far as what diameter they are, I have NO idea. The outside of the flange to outside of the flange is 5 inches...is that what I tell the place where I have to drop 20-50 bucks for the covers? Or do I take a shot in the dark, order them and then hope the holes line up? I call Fosgate, they can't help, or won't help, neither will any audio store. It's a trade secret how to get speaker covers with no hassles. Anyone have any ideas? I mean I see them on Dennis Kirk and J&P Cycles, but I'm sure if I order the ones they have, the holes won't line up and I'll have to return them, and pay for shipping of course.

Should have listened to reviews ... SPEAKERS ARE WORSE THE STOCK 20 YEAR OLD ONES. Rockford should be disappointed in this kit.If you want to replace your blown out speakers for something cheap go for it but this is NOT an upgrade . I should have just got the amp not the kit. Sounds good at a stop light but after 45mph aound is horrible.Installed on 06 HD EG

Seller was great and package arrived on time . However, not pleased with sound quality. Very little to no difference from stock. Will be upgrading again

For the price you can't beat it. The instructions could have been a better. Overall anybody who wants a big upgrade, this is as good as as any I've found

These were total crap. Worst system I ever heard. Read other reviews and purchased anyway. Shouldn't have cause the stock Harley ones were ten times better. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS CRAP.

Terrible dont order

Sound good. Somehow I was expecting more bass but they are much clearer and louder than stock

2 Ohms and 40 watt speakers is just not enough. I purchased a Jensen HD1BT Bluetooth stereo and replaced the original 2 Ohm HD speakers with these and installed the 160 watt amp. All plug n play so no issues there. However, when I turn up the volume when I ride I can barely hear the song and when I stop at a traffic signal or stop sign I can hear the speakers being overdriven so I turn the volume down. What a pain.. At a stand still or parked in the garage the stereo sounds excellent but I just can't hear clear sound to know the artist or song unless I look at the display on the stereo. For around town under 50 MPH this system works just fine. But on the freeway or higher highway speeds of 55 to 85 MPH I can't hear unless I turn up the volume and then just barely be able to pick out a very well known song. But first time hearing a song I have no idea who the artist is or the words being sung. I am looking into a 400 watt or higher amp and 4 Ohm speakers.
