While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written futuristic paranormal book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a large set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great futuristic paranormal movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. Not my normal read, & it was just OK for me; but I’m still going to rate it at 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; DailyFreeBooks; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Very interesting wrap-up to a fascinating series
Just finished this one last night (yes, ok, I admit it - I stayed up to finish it. It was worth losing a couple hours' sleep!) This one had me guessing a few times - about the time I'd think I figured who characters A, B, and C were, I'd discover that I was wrong (but thank you for playing!). It is a gripping story that kept me reading to find out what was going to happen next to our characters - the intelligent (but emotionally tangled) Rebekka; her supportive (though misguided) daughter, Julie; and angry, obnoxious ex-husband-trying-to-finagle-his-way-back-to-his-family, Peter. I kept wondering when she was going to come to her senses and dump Mr. Pain-in-the-arse and return to her former lover and current co-worker, Sune...and kept wondering...and wondering... Sure, they have some things to work out. She still seems to be a little freaked out by their differences in age; but Sune is different from the other guys Rebekkah has been involved with - and he's a good guy with a son the same age as Julie, and those two adore one another. However, Rebekka consistently beats herself over the head, believing that she "just has to" reconcile her differences with Peter and mend their family into a Disney movie. In reality, she needs to start seeing the forest through the trees and have some self-confidence.This book is a literary maze offering a few surprises that prove the funhouse mirrors are often more distorted than you imagine; and not to believe everything you see. It also answers a few longtime questions: Are Rebekkah and Sune meant to be together? Is Peter truly back on solid psychological ground? Should Julie live with her mother, her father, or both? Is Rebekkah's dad going to live forever? And is this really the final book in this series?Only the author knows... :)
