Fun bright pages, Awesome Photos!
Simply a fun book to check out some of WWE’s extreamest moments. As a huge women’s wrestling fan it would have been swell to have a page just for the women of WWE’s extreme moments like Hardcore matches of Ivory vs Luna, Ivory vs Tori, Melina vs Mickie James Falls Count Anywhere Match... and other extreme moments. It’s awesome to see WWE acknowledge the 9th Wonder of the Workd CHYNA again. Awesome photos!

Grapple with Random WWE Information
WWE has been around in one form or another for decades and has a rich and chequered history. This official title from the powerhouse wresting group concentrates on some of the greatest extreme battles and relationships that have existed from Jake the Snake to the more modern crop *enter less entertaining modern wrestler name here*.'WWE Beyond Extreme' by Dean Miller is a 'Ripley's Believe or Not' style nonfiction book that takes some information from the WWE and makes it accessible for 7-12-year olds. The book is full colour and full of awesome images. You get a series of double spreads that highlight an area and give you some detail on the antics of someone like The Undertaker. The matches chosen seemed a little random to me. Fun to read, but the likes of Mick Foley deserve a large part of the book for themselves. His extreme antics were given as brief a space as stuff that did not feel that extreme in comparison. For fans of WWE, they will lap up the random factoids and scour the book for their favourite wrestlers and incidents. Other readers may be overwhelmed by the seeming random nature of it all. I know I enjoyed it, but then I am a fan since 1980-something.

Quick read, but entertaining
Now, I never got the hype about this WWE thing, but I do appreciate a lot of people watch it and I've got a friend that used to spend hours on this every week. I thought he would be the right one to go through this before it goes to some deserving kid and he said that this is good as there is gossip, stories about the characters and lots of photos and he thought it was quite good fun to have a browse/read through.

Fun book aimed at younger fans
This is a fun book aimed at younger fans of WWE. The book doesn't contain any in-depth information and it assumes the reader is already a WWE fan (there is no section of introductory information that a new fan might want to read). Instead, the book contains facts, snippets and lots and lots of photos. I think this is more of a fun book to flick through.
