Love these things!
Because of the reviews, I ordered these in a 9W... not medium which I would normally get. It was a good decision. The wide is snug... but fits just fine. I love the colors... the blue and pink together. And the fit is great. I have a narrow heal... and this really works for me. I notice that one of the reviews says they are not fully waterproof. I can't comment on that yet. I hope that is not the case for me. Maybe to be on the safe side, when I know I will be in snowy or wet conditions, I will use protective spray on them. They fit nice, are snug, but comfortable and are cute! They don't feel like heavy, heavy clumsy boots... which I really like. They will go nicely with a pair of jeans... over the boot, not into the boot. And seem to have good traction. I have not wore them outside yet. I recommend them... but be sure you buy the WIDE even if you wear a medium.

Wonderful right out of the box!
I have large feet and finding a shoe that fits comfortably (or one even in my size 11) is quite difficult. I'd been admiring Oboz and reading product reviews from all over the web but locating the size was nearly impossible. I really wanted red but this blue is stunning. I think I'd like a thicker lace, but we'll see how that goes with time. The boot has a wide toe box and plenty of insole padding so that walking is a breeze instead of a pain. I don't think I have ever had a shoe fit so well, feel so comfortable straight from the box. I will most definitely be wearing other Oboz shoes in the future. A bit expensive but when one's feet don't hurt, worth every penny!

Incredible Hiking Boot
I was looking for a hiking boot to keep my feet warm and dry during the colder months. I have had Oboz hiking shoe before and was satisfied with the brand. I was skeptical about this boot when order whether or not it was a wide as advertised. The boot does fit my wide foot comfortably. I will say a shoe horn is need when placing your foot into the boot. I have worn the boots while hiking and just out and about. They are completely comfortable.

Tight in the ankles, but stretching (the shoes) will help
I usually have no issues wearing shoes out-of-the-box. In fact, I have a pair of Oboz hiking shoes (low cut) that are extremely comfortable, which is why I wanted to find a pair of Oboz hiking boots that provide more support around the ankles. When I first tried them on, these shoes felt comfortable and not too restricting on my feet.My mistake was not test driving these out on a short walk. I wore these for the first time on a 5-mile, hilly hike. Oh boy, how badly my ankles hurt afterwards! The shoes definitely provide ankle support, but so much that you feel like they're holding onto your ankles for dear life instead of "being there to help" (and I think my ankles are normal size -- have never needed a wide shoe or had any issues with boots or other hiking shoes). After a couple more hikes with these shoes, I was beginning to despair that I hadn't brought a backup pair.In the off-chance that it would help, I decided to stretch out the tops of the boots around the ankle area to see if that would make them more comfortable. I spent about 5-10 minutes using my hands to manipulate/stretch/fold the stiff top of the shoe to try to soften it. Then, I took the boots on a 10-mile hike. So much more comfortable! Luckily, this worked or I would have been trying to figure out how to salvage a dirty pair of expensive hiking boots I only wore a few times.Other than the ankle tightness, I had no issues with comfort and they definitely were waterproof. I hope these end up feeling as comfortable as my other pair of Oboz!

My favorite hiking boots.
These are my favorite hiking boots. I love how they fit on me; it feels secure and covers my ankles. I also love the colors as they are subtle and not obnoxious (especially for women's boots). This is my third pair. I hike a lot, and in all different terrains/conditions, so it's normal wear and tear given the circumstances.

Great looking boots but poor quality
I wore these boots less than one year. Initially they were fantastic. A bone graft was completed on my left ankle with screws in my heel so I purchased a few pairs of new hiking boots. These were comfortable right out of the box which I loved since I was in a cast over three months. Definitely waterproof and good support. Now I interchange my hiking boots every few days so I was surprised when these were the first pair to have a seam split. I also waterproof them with NicWax but the color faded dramatically. The original color of the leather was the same as the tongue. If you need a boot for weekly hikes don’t choose this brand.

Oh are my feet happy!
Nice insoles with actual arch support! I've not purchased a boot or tennis shoe in years that I haven't had to purchase upgraded insoles for! Style-wise, the boot is less clunky in appearance compared to Merrill's, Keens, ect. Absolutely delivers on a standard heel with a wider toe box. I've been cursed with that kind of foot and these babies are a dream come true ❤️ - no more heel slipping or toes getting crushed depending on which way I've had to settle for in the past.I typically wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes and an 8.5 or 9 in boots. The 9 in these fit better than the 8.5 with one pair of regular midweight socks. I would say the sizing runs a little small (similar to Columbia boot sizing).Overall, I'm in love with them. Now off to silicone spray them so they stay pretty and easy to clean until they fall apart from use...
