North Carolina Butterflies & Moths: A Folding Pocket Guide to Familiar Species (A Pocket Naturalist Guide) Pamphlet – November 21, 2014

At first, I was rather disappointed at what I received for I thought it would going to be more of a "book" format, but in using it, I really like it for the information is short and to the point and I love that the lamination allows me to take it into the field without worrying about the pages becoming wet or damaged. I really like the product.

Construction is durable and worthy of carrying into the field. Nine pages of 8 species on each page, plus one page of caterpillars and pupae. Each is labelled with popular name and scientific under it plus the size in inches and centimeters and many have notation of something unique to that specie. Very easy to use the accordian-type foldout design for ID work. Worth your time and money.

This is just a folder that expands to very basic information. I wanted more and there are easy books to find that fit the bill.
