Walker SoundFX 18952 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler 2.5" Inlet (ID) 2.25" Outlet (ID) for Jeep Grand Cherokee

Little growl when revving it up but totally docile at normal driving input, no drone, perfect muffler for a GC. I have the cats in the Y but none in the main pipe, sounds great.

For some reason it says it doesn’t fit the 2004 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 but it fit perfect on mine! Took it to a weld shop and he cut the old and welded the new in. Car is much more quiet and overall a perfect replacement.

Fit as described for 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not to loud.

Fit nicely with a couple clamps an a short connector because I cut the pipe about two inches shorter than I needed. Not counting the trip for the connector it all took under 30 minutes

Fit exactly like the original on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition 6cyl 4.0L. My front pipe is still stock and has never been cut or damaged beyond the cat so using this muffler with a Walker 55593 Exhaust Tail Pipe fit perfectly. I used Walker Walker (33975) 2-1/4" Aluminized Lap-Joint Exhaust Clamp at the outlet connection and a Walker (33976) 2-1/2" Aluminized Lap-Joint Exhaust Clamp at the muffler inlet. Both fit and worked perfectly and made an overall very clean looking installation.

I install this muffler on the Grand Jeep Cherokee and it works okay but it's not as quiet as I thought it would be. When the Jeep is idling you can hear it pretty easy it doesn't really muffle the sound as much as the one I replaced. It's well made by a reputable company and the materials are really good but it could have been a little quieter. Some people might think I need a new muffler it's pretty loud and I do not have any leaks anywhere.

Wife’s Jeep needed one. This muffler is nice and quiet. Fit like any other OE type part. Super easy. Hopefully she lasts
