My favorite type of D string. I love the obligato sound and I've been using them ever since I've become passionate with playing viola.

These are beautiful strings to help make your viola tone sound wonderful. When your string goes bad and you can't leave home do it this way. But if you want a whole set don't buy individual strings because you will get 4 individual packages at different times and i thought that was too much trouble. . Thank you.

I love these strings. I previously had very expensive gut strings and these are less expensive but still give a beautiful sound. If you like a warm sound with your strings (which I like on the viola), these are great.

my sons play the viola and they both swear by these strings, you can get strings for less money but they won't sound as good as these do
