Would this tape be suitable to record music from my lp's on to? using a akai gx230d

Yes. The tape should work fine. The more difficult part will be getting the correct signal level from your record player via the amplifier into the Akai. The next difficult thing will be finding a convenient way to play your music after the transfer. Why not go LP to digital so you can just play them from your computer? IE: reel to reel tape isn't any more convenient. It's fun and super cool but not convenient.

Which reel in the picture does it come on? My reelto reel machine has small pegs for the reel so I need to make sure it's the reel with the small hole

The picture is somewhat misleading; it shows all the different widths of tape in the 911 series. If you need 1/4" tape on a 7" inch reel, then this is what you're looking for and it ought to fit your machine.

Would this work with my teac 2300sx?

Yes, the 7 inch reels will work, but the 10 1/2 inch reels will not.
