It comes completely built, all you have to do is apply the grip, which I enjoyed making custom. I'm comparing this to the Tech Deck Primitive Pro Series, which is 34mm, which I bought on April 30th. I wanted to see what a 32mm was like. I learned my preference is 32mm. With that said, this Teak board is a great option for someone beginning. The feel is good, the board is lighter and not as long, making tricks easier to do and get better at. I also found that my control with grinds/slides are better with 32mm.
