Don't Believe It Is 6 Amp, But Worth The Price
First the good. It arrived in less than 24 hours after ordering. The not as good - it only lasted about 30 min in my self propelled lawnmower. The Greenworks 5 Amp battery that came with the mower lasted 45. I suspect this is on par with a 4 Amp battery. That said, for the cost, it is probably worth it. I need 45 min to cut my front yard and another 45 for the back. I usually only do one or the other per day. If I use this battery, I need to bring along another ( I have 3 or 4 total) to swap out after 30 min.I have 2 other "6 Amp" batteries from another company and they also only last 30 min. Looks like all 3 are the same knock off battery with a different company printed on it.Still, for the price, I'd recommend this one.

Good value but not a high performer
We use these in our mower. This 6ah lasts about the same as a Greenworks 4ah. So buy with that in mind.

Good so far
I ordered two of these batteries for my mower, it seems to charge and run my mower much longer than my original batteries ever have. We will see how it goes in the future. But the batteries seem to be built well and not cheaply. I recommend these for sure, great resolution for the cost of say

Performance
I had the unit for two mowing so far it is doing the job able to cut the grass both on front and back of house, with original battery 4000 I only will get about 2/3 of front yard

Bought July 2020. 4 cells failed by August 2022. Only 1 year warranty, so now it's junk
If you can only afford knockoff brand Greenworks battery packs, avoid this one. Go elsewhere for a model that claims a longer warranty, because you WILL need that warranty with cheapo Chinese battery cells inside. As is typical with them, I bought this unit in July 2020. It failed 25 months later in August 2022. Four of the internal cells wouldn't hold a charge, and they dragged the entire pack down, so I dismantled it to harvest the still usable cells for other projects and now need to replace this unit with either a GENUINE Greenworks 40v pack, or a knockoff pack with a longer warranty so when it WILL fail, I can at least get another one to replace it. This is the norm with all battery packs using Chinese cells. If you want to avoid the hassle entirely, only buy genuine OEM battery packs, whoever the brand in question is. If you're willing to go through the hassle of replacing these when they fail, then make sure to buy only long warranted units from vendors that have a reliable history and will likely still be around in 2+ years to even fulfill your warranty.

Not bad for aftermarket
I've noticed some capacity decline in the second year of use, which I don't recall happening with the OEM batteries until later (OEMs still in use after 6 years). Still, the power output clearly does exceed the 4 Amp. OEM, as well as the 5 Amp aftermarket battery I had before (which ceased to hold a charge after one year). Given my previous experience with an aftermarket battery, this has been a pleasant surprise.

It works
I feel like this 6,000 generic battery has less juice than the 4,000 Greenworks battery that came with my mower, but now I can finish my lawn between the 2 of them so I'm happy. About 3 months so far and it still works.

The battery life is about par with OEM 4000mAH battery..
The battery life is not any longer than the OEM 4000maH battery. It appears about equal in run time according to my use of other OEM batteries I have used (4). This battery is cheaper, and supposed to be longer lasting, but in my experience the length of run time for my lawn mower is about as same as the OEM battery (no major differencesnoted between battery and the 4 that I have been using for about 3 years). So, don't expect 50% longer run time using this battery as compare to OEM.
