More Enjoyable Music
This piano series has really helped my students who are musical, but are bored with Bastien's academic-type music exercises. Faber and Faber books have better music, but do not progress as quickly as Bastien. (Yet anything is better than Alfred!)

Great tool to learn piano
My son is a beginner and his instructor uses these books. They are filled with great activities that really help to understand the material. The songs are very cute and fun to sing along to as you learn. My son is 8 for reference!
