If you're beginning clay sculpting start out with plastina clay it's much softer

I am an amateur learning how to sculpt. I didn't care for the properties of the local "Craft store" sculpting product, so I spent a lil extra and ordered this product. It is hard, but will soften when you work it in your hands. It does not leave much for residue and clean up is really easy. It holds a lot of detail, and will not air-dry. It also smells really good (like chocolate milk) in addition to it's pleasing texture and workability. Would recommend.
