Best buy so far. I took the time to read through reviews of a few steamers on amazon, for a start the Dyson works lying flat and looked great but the tank looks too small for regular use so I choose this one. It is fantastic, Ive used it on all kinds of materials especially linen. Its very quick and easy and means Im no longer hunting around for an ironing board.The button at the front means that you can switch it on continuous steam with one click which is preferred. The best part is that it also works on flat surfaces such as bed, so you can lay an item on the bed and steam it this way. I believe not many steamers will do this so this was my reasons for the purchase of this item. I even used it on the ironing board cover that was very creased! Perfect!TIPS:Always use the glove on your other hand, the steam gets very hotSteam downwards only, so you can avoid the steam risingUse a peg to hold the clothing when you are going near to the cornersBuy a lot of drinking water so you can refill this. (Don't use regular tap water as this may cause scaling)Make sure you have properly closed the filler tank. The steamer was delivered promptly. It can packaged well, with a heat protected glove and a bag for transporting the steamer.The steamer itself is quite big and a little on the heavy side - which might be off putting if travelling.It does heat the water extremely quickly and does a pretty good job on basic day to day clothes. The water tank isn’t overly big so will require at least 1 refill if you are doing a few clothes. It doesn’t replace ironing altogether as it’s not completely crinkle free, items such as shirts would definitely require an iron. It’s a bit easier then taking the ironing board out, instead hanging the clothes that are suitable for steaming on the hanger - it leaves those clothes pretty crinkle free.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase as the pros outweigh the cons.

I absolutely love this steamer . It’s my go to and so much easier for me to use than an iron as I have issues with my hands . It comes with a complete kit inc heatproof glove all in a bag so it’s easy to take with you and keep together . very quick to heat up and use straight away . Easy to fill . Gets rid of all wrinkles easily in short time .

3 starts because over all the product is good. Takes a little bit of time to get hot and to work and steaming clothes is a little longwinded. However if your doing curtains it freshening furniture it’s great.For clothes nothing will beat an iron. I found on clothing the crease would be removed but reappear very faintly when the dampness from the steam was removed.

I bought this solely for a wedding in Italy. I bring everything with me on my travels, and this trip was nothing different. I heard a rumour that Italy doesn't have irons in hotel rooms, bar some, due to safety, so bought this to look sharp while away.It generally takes 15 seconds to heat up. The great thing about this machine is the trigger is more like a button which you can click once and you can continuously steam; so instead of holding down a trigger and getting cramps in your hand after 30 seconds, you can just click the trigger once and steam ahead.The added extras like the sleeves guard and the mittens are very helpful to avoid scalds.Like many of the previous reviews, there is a clicking sound when you first use it that lasts about 2 mins; I guess this is the machine trying to run the water through its system. Just let it do its thing and it works quietly afterwards.The output isn't as strong as a steam-generated iron but still works pretty well on jeans and cotton garments. My linen suit and shirt took two attempts (only) to "iron" out the creases. I wasn't expecting it to get out all the creases but to my surprise it did! I got about 10-15mins worth of steam but this will obviously differ depending on the garments that you want.While I think that this steamer is great, it's not that travel friendly. I brought a medium sized check in bag to Italy and it took up about 1/6 of the suitcase, so would recommend this for the home rather than to travel with - but it still gets 5 stars from me though!

After 3 months of usage, it started to lag, green flashing light which clears after switching off and on again. When holding the steam button, it sometimes takes an extra minute or two to produce steam, even with water tank at max. I can hear the pump working inside but very slow to produce steam. Worked well to clear creases, did sometimes expel a lot of water in a hissing manner which was quite dangerous, but sadly need to order another brand with a warranty. Save yourself the bother and go for a brand which has actual customer service and good warranty repair options.
