Great solution for us.
We have two dogs and to cut down on the need to let them outside into our fenced yard during the day we first bought a Larson storm door with a dog door built in, this lets us have the convenience of the dog door and the security of being able to close the inner door at night and when we are not home. Since we live in an area that gets fairly cold in the winter we added a strip door just inside the swing radius of the inner door so it can be left open for the dogs to go in and out as they wish. We had originally bought a heavy ribbed strip door on a roll and rigged it on a rod, this worked to an extent but did not stay in place well and the heavier ribbed strips were not easy to walk through. Which brings us to the actual review for this product, this has been great, it is of lighter construction so it is much easier to walk through, the strip mounting bracket makes it very easy to move or replace the strips as needed and we have been very happy with this purchase. I thought I had saved money on the first solution but that was just wasted time and money, this has been a far more practical solution that we will have in use for years to come.

Efficient and durable
It has been 7 1/2 years since I purchased this kit. It is between 2 bays of my commercial garage and we go through this door dozens of times per day. It is time for a new kit before this winter, but it has held up very well. AMAZING actually. I originally purchased this item to conserve energy when I only wanted to heat or cool 1 bay on a particular day. This curtain provides about a 20 degree difference on a winter day. It doesn't seal in all the heat or cool air but it makes a very noticeable difference and is easy to walk thru even when carrying tools or parts between the bays.

Great product.
This is exactly what my husband wanted to go inside the door of his cooler. Very happy with this purchase.

Comfort & convenience.
Exactly what I was looking for for my 42" basement door opening at the bottom of the stairs. I have three garage doors of which 1 is always open during spring & summer & most of fall. This allows for whatever the weather is ( hot, cold, humid etc.) to permeate our basement. During this time we run our dehumidifier. I realized too much humidity was creeping down to the basement. I have seen these 'warehouse loading dock' plastic doors at many locations. I wondered if small sizes were made and behold, a 40" unit from ALECO. Since I installed it we can tell the difference in the basement. First of all it is now November and our heat has been on. As soon as you go through the strips you can feel the difference in the temperature. It has to be 6/8 degrees warmer. That is excellent as I'm sure the warmer basement will transfer up to a warmer living space. We are very pleased. Easy to install and it allows you to space the strips out to much larger than 40". Probably up to 46" or so. This is a great solution for a basement 'door'.

Dog door-workes perfect!
I bought this to make a dog door for our dobie in a pool cage door. I was afraid a standard dog door would put too much stress on the aluminum cage frame. This worked out better than I ever hoped! 40 inches fit perfectly across the outside stabilizing bar on the door. The plastic flaps are heavy duty so they fall back into place leaving no gaps for bugs or critters yet it was easy to trim to size. I also love that these are clear and do not add an eyesore or block any views. No more bugs and debris coming in from having to leave door open for dog. LOVE! It is very sturdy and is handling the in and out of an 85lb dog well!

We ordered this for our patio sliding door. We have an almost 16 yr old Labrador we have to keep the slider open for to get outside during the night. It's a struggle when it's cold out and we finally came up with this solution. We installed it last night and the difference is amazing. We did cut about 2 inches off the bottom of the straps to accommodate being placed inside rather than outside so it didn't get beat up by winds. So yes, it works great for keeping the cold out...or in...however you need to use it :)

They don’t lay flat, they curl into tubes
At first I thought these would work great to have the door open so the dogs could come and go, keeping the dust out and the temperature in the room steady. They where an easy install and got them up quickly. However, they don’t lay flat! So I might as well just keep the door open and not have anything hanging there. I was told to give them some time and they would fall into place after a few days. That was three and a half days ago and they still roll. So far these are a big waste of money and will probably return them in a few days. First, I’ll try bringing them in and hang them inside, hopping the warmer temp flattens them out.
