Grandson really liked
Bought for 9 year old Grandson for Christmas. He had read the sixth book and wanted the others in the series. He said he really like them. Apparently he does because one month later he is halfway through book 5.

I think my children arnt old enough for these yet
Stories are to violent .. interesting, but the guns were a bit much. At first they seemed to be written for older kids 7-10 maybe. I can see now why they are meant for middle school kids.. but middle school kids read more advanced books soo.. I guess its just a personal choice thing
