Wow, a real review from a real person.
How bout a real review by someone thats not a paid foreigner "that bought it for my husband and he really likes." If you havent figured it out by now, most all the reviews on Amazon are bogus. I hate writing reviews but this sucked SO bad, I just had to. Look at the pictures, its NOWHERE near the size shown. According to the manufacturer my GPS should have fit with room to spare. And the magnets, won't even hold the empty bag on the motorcycle. Absolutely worthless waste of money.

False
Coming out with magnets that I would not feel safe to hold a sheet of paper to the fridge let alone a phone to my motorcycle. The case is smaller than the stated dimensions that are given by the seller. All held together with a very poor construction with maybe a nickles worth of material so bad that a crackhead would feel like he was ripping you off if he had gotten a quarter off of it .

Not For Highway Riding
Purchased primarily for my wife's bike, as she was leading a group of riders on a tour and needed her phone's GPS. There wasn't enough time for us to get a phone mount and install so this case was a viable "Plan B". I purchased one for myself too figuring I could use it to put my mp3 player in (I already had/have a phone mount on my bike). I ended up not using my case for the trip, but my wife did use hers. First thing she noticed was the touchscreen of her iPhone could not be used through the plastic...case was too big so not a tight enough fit of the case's plastic against the screen. Not the best situation, but it wasn't a deal breaker as she only needed to set directions and be able to see the map. She wasn't going to be fooling with the phone while riding. The entire 100 mile ride was on streets and side roads (max speed 50mph) as this was meant to be a scenic tour. The case worked fine for this purpose, but after the tour my wife and I took the highway back home (top speeds of 70mph) and that's when the unthinkable happened. About 5 miles in at highway speeds, the case simply flew off the bike....with her iPhone, garage remote, and some cash. By the time we were able to get off at the next exit and circle back, it had (from the looks of things) been run over at least once. The iPhone (which incidentally was in its own Otterbox case) was in pieces...screen, backing, and main board all separated from each other. Garage remote suffered a similar fate. Bottom line, the magnets were not strong enough to hold the case to the tank at highway speeds. I had a positive experience with this type of case years ago on an old bike which is why I gravitated toward this one as a last-minute solution for my wife's bike. So I wouldn't judge all such cases based on this experience, but BUYER BEWARE for THIS particular case. It's not a "value" when using it causes you to lose an $1,800 phone! You don't want the magnets so strong that they ruin your paint, but you SHOULD feel some resistance when trying to pull it off. Fortunately, the tour was over so she/we didn't have the stress of 40 bikers waiting for us to find her phone, but the inconvenience of recovering the case and expense of replacing the phone, not to mention the lost photos from the ride stops as they didn't have time to backup before the incident....NOT a good experience AT ALL. The case itself is in pretty good shape considering, but still not in returnable condition. Sufficed to say though I will be looking to return the other one, which hadn't been used.

Almost great
Would have given this 5 stars if the clear plastic cover had been less reflective. You can't read the phone screen at all when riding in bright sunshine. Other than that I really like it. The magnets are very strong and the smooth back cover prevents scratching my tank.

Great as long as it isn't sunny.
This is perfect for my old XS650 tank but it needs a Velcro cover to block the sun. Can't keep the phone in there without it overheating. Keeping it because some days it's cloudy and I think I can modify it to solve that cover problem pretty easily

Weak magnet, be careful.
The magnet to hold it in place is not very strong.

I use this on my Honda Shadow gas tank as waterproof store for ipone
This is a really good idea for a simple placement of my phone that is water proof and clear view on the tank. Nothing to mount or screw in. Zipper is water tight and the clear screen makes it very user friendly.
