how do you open it to empty the chamber?

You have to twist the small round piece at the top of the sharpener. Once this is open, it lifts off, and then you can lift off the transparent cylinder.

Can u buy replacement blades

Amazon doesn't sell the replacement blades for this. I'm STILL LOOKING
