Lots of Tips to get it done!
Great number of tips, buts it's more a listing of them. You have to know how it's suosed to work before you know when to use them. I'm not there yet, so I'll look at it after I've got some experience.

Decent one read only book.
Nice book and very helpful. It is digital rights protected however, and I could never open it again after the first time. Makes it kind of impossible to refer back to. I'd buy something else that can be read more than once.

I Just purchased a new Asus Chromebook and needed a quick start tutorial in the quirks of the Chrome system. This book hits the spot on that!II have been looking for something the I consider an improvement to an Ipad. I now think I have found it, a Chromebook, along with this book for a quick start on Chrome operation. I am impressed.

Reasonsbly good
I would have given it a 5, but the absolute absence of any screenshots is a bit confusing at the initial introduction.

A whole new ballgame!
This Chromebook is a whole new ballgame for me. Sure, I use computers with internet access... Windows, Macintosh, MSIE, Google. And, speaking of Google, this Chromebook uses a Google operating system. What you will find in this book are the "secret" hiding places for numerous helpful and time saving places and where to find them. The Chromebook is perfect for a "web browsing person" and this book will add to your internet experience.

Bought a Chromebook and this was helpful for some basic tips. Not a lot of in depth ideas; mostly basic that I probably would have been able to figure out but this helped figure things out quicker.

Good info but marred by absence of illustrations
what can i say? i haven't got past #10 but the info is useful but with no illustrations, it's quite unwieldy to follow and look at the screen at the same time.

Exactly what I've been looking for!
I am a complete Chrome virgin and was initially baffled by the relationship between My files, Google Drive, Sheets and documents on my new Chromebook. I tried at least two other books that did not help me at all, before coming across this beauty. It is a perfect fit for me at my level of experience and understanding, although it may be a bit too basic for someone with greater all round knowledge of the system. What I particularly like is the conscious use of repetition. The author states, quite reasonably, that this is to avoid constantly skipping back to check on operations that are duplication of actions already covered earlier in the book, but an added benefit from this is the fact that by duplicating the same actions over and again, they really stick in the memory, to the point where, once you've properly grasped and memorized the operation, you find yourself doing that bit without using the repeated instruction. Nice one Mr Moeller and thank you!

A useful book
This was my first Chromebook and the long battery life was the main attraction. This book is a mine of information but finding that information isn't always easy. I liked the repetitive comment as it saved referring back all the time. Some of the suggestions didn't work for me, but that is probably down to me as I'm still learning. One thing that would have given it an extra star would have been an opening page listing all the section as they appear in the book. this would save so much time
