Absolutely consistent.
I've gotten a couple reels of this filament and it's consistent, which is honestly one of the most attractive qualities in a filament. The color is a true white. It has never broken, or cracked, or clogged, or caused the print to fail in any way. It's easy to work with and my Makerbot Replicator 2 likes it.

Smooth PLA for great prints
This PLA has a great finish to it and can be sanded easily for an even surface. i will buy more when i run out. the larger spool is not a perfect fit for the Replicator 2 but if you put the feeder tube on the opposite side of the holder it feeds easier.

NOT MakerBot - Hand rolled filament on custom Mađe roll
The roll is flimsy and not sturdy-covered with the white sticky dust of unknown origin. Filament was looose, with knotts . It seems to be hand rolled. If us nit possible to use it. The filament was coming off of the roll. Impossibke to use it on the. majerBot!!!

Same price for less? Larger spool?
I'm not typically one to complain about MakerBot, as I feel they have put together one of the better 3D printers out there.. but.. seeing that I couldn't buy the old 1kg roll of true white PLA, I decided to give the 2 pound version a try (900 grams). It's still good PLA, no complaints there and the new roll seems like it might be better to keep the PLA from binding up.However, it is kind of insulting to keep the price the same and lose 100 grams of plastic. Then it bothers me that the new rolls are larger and don't fit on the right side spool of my Replicator 2 (consider design much?) Luckily I have been using a top-down feeding system for my PLA at home and so it still works fine. It's just a bit frustrating that they stopped selling the old stuff and now I have no choice but to lose 100 grams of plastic with a roll that doesn't quite fit right on the old Replicator 2. Sigh..

Exactly as described
Made a giant dice tower, companion cube model, and more with this filament and still have a bit left. Works well for many different kinds oud projects and pretty sturdy.

Works well on unheated platforms with blue painters tape. ...
Works well on unheated platforms with blue painters tape. With rafts, I have had one in ten prints curl, which I assume is due to uneven cooling of the print. I say assume, because it seems to happen sporadically, despite infill or what I am trying to print.

Solid PLA for your Makerbot 3D Printer.
Expensive, but worth the reduced headaches. This is high performance PLA. Very little curl. Sticks to makerbot tray tightly. A bit too tight.... prying off tray takes a bit of force and maybe a fingernail too! Reel doesn’t seem to snag and jam as frequently as the cheaper stuff.
