A good little potting bench
It took about half an hour to assemble, and there was no warping as some people have reported. I did consider swapping the supplied screws for brass ones, but decided to use the supplied anodised ones and keep an eye on them for any corrosion as it will be kept in my greenhouse which will get a bit humid come spring/summer. The quality is good for the money spent - the timber is a little bit rough, but perfectly good for the job intended. The galvanised top was folded back on both the rear corners but easily flattened out. The hooks are a bit flimsy as my 3 year old grandson managed to snap one not long after I had screwed it on - not a problem though as I only attached them to one end as the other is up against the greenhouse end so I had three spares, I will probably replace them with some better quality cast brass ones though. For fifty quid I can't complain as the local garden centres were selling similar quality or worse potting benches for twice the price or more!

Looks good, functional
For the price this is a good bit of kit, that said I applied my own preservative before assembling, just to help it last. Also I'd seen these before and the top had rusted, ours also has rust spots just after one summer, but you could class this as patina.

Excellent value for money for a very practical potting bench.
Excellent value for money, easy to assemble and sturdy enough for the job. It also looks good. Ideal height and two practical shelves underneath the metal surfaced worktop. It looks as if the wood is pre-treated with stain which I hope is some sort of preservative.

Perfect potting bench
Very lightweight, shelves come ready assembled , took me an hr to build but I am complete novice others it would take far less but I did make it and like the result but it is the cheaper end of market and the quality represents its price , I was happy with that , perfect for what I want to do, a bit of light potting and sowing seeds at a sensible height .

Cheap
The price of this potting table is a real bargain, but at the expense of some quality. The timber is light and is stained a vivid light orange-brown. One piece had a crack along most of its length and a number of pieces had only been roughly finished off. The instructions give the impression that all one needs to do to assemble it is to screw-up some screws, but it fails to mention that this includes screwing some of them right through tin sheet, for which I found an electric drill and metal drill-bit an absolute necessity. The tin sheet was also rather sharp around its edges, which were not flattened completely against its backing board - caution required! It was also very annoying to find that 14 screws were missing. The package looked as if it had either been opened in transit, or re-used, and then poorly resealed with transparent sticky tape. Overall the table seems reasonably sturdy and should serve its purpose, but in view of my experience I don't feel it rates more than 5 out of 10.

OK once assembled
This took quite a bit of effort to assemble, I had to drill several times as this wasn't done and the screws wouldn't go in, I got it done on my own and once assembled it is sturdy and a good size for potting. I bought a bbq cover for it as I have this in the garden not in a green house, if you like a small project then I recommend

Good sturdy product
Very pleased with this potting bench. It's very sturdy and looks good. Partner said it was relatively easy to put together. There were a lot of screws but that can only add to the strength
