Dimensions 'A Kiss for Snowman' Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 18 Count White Aida, 6" x 6"

Pretty cross-stitch. Easy to do. Given as a gift & it was admired and adored

This is definitely a challenge--working with dark threads on black aida cloth. Do not choose this as your first cross stitch project. Set it aside until you have done some on white aida cloth and you've blended threads, used different kinds of stitches, etc. I used additional metallic blending filaments to make my butterfly iridescent. It's really outrageous. I really like Dimensions cross stitch kits. They have nice colors, the threads are already sorted, the instructions are complete, and you get to use several different kinds of stitches. Their finishing details are always nice too--French knots, couching, not just simple back stitch.

The kit was beautifully put together with great materials. The instructions were simple & easy to follow. It was going to be a present but now I want to keep it for myself!!!

I've been doing Dimensions kits since I was about 8 years old. I'm 23 now and for the past 4 years there hasn't been a time where I didn't have a Dimensions project going. This kit was great. Easy and quick but not too easy to be boring. Good for when you want to have a craft project for the weekends or something but are too busy to dedicate a lot of time to a huge project. And it turned out really beautiful. The colors are nice and bright.

My purchase of this pattern from Dimensions has occurred twice - once I got off count and it was irreconcilably so. The second time I had better luck but working on the 18 count cloth made it an exercise in fussing with the holes in the Aida cloth. Not that the kit is bad - it is not. But I did find it a challenge to stitch this pattern even though I'm a cross stitcher of 30 years experience. First the black cloth adds extra challenge when coming back through the cloth and second the tightness of the thread coming through 18 count Aida makes for more difficult stitching. Though I have these complaints, the end result is lovely and easily appreciated by anyone you would choose to gift the item to. I would say though, that as a beginner, do not start with this kit - it will challenge you in ways you don't need when learning how to cross stitch. The kit, in general is a solid four star kit.

I’m a long time dimensions fan and this one continues to meet the standard. Relatively easy compared to other kits. Vibrant color and delightful image!

I'm working on this right now and it will be beautiful, as i already completed a different one from the same series. But, it IS difficult, not for the weak of heart! hahaha! But the project is stunning when completed. Thanks! It arrived in a timely manner, nothing missing from the kit.

I have a long way to go to finish this sewing project, but so far it's turning out just fine. The color combinations are so pretty on the teapot; it looks just like the picture. Some projects have such different coloring than the original pictures. The instructions are easy to follow, and I loved the way the thread came attached to a guide so I could tell which colors were which. I didn't have to guess which number went with which color. Very easy! Can't wait to finish this project and send it off to one of my dearest friends.
