At this time of the year with Rememberance Sunday this weekend, I have fond memories of my grandfather ( who fought, was wounded and survived the battle of the Somme ) who tought and passed on many words of advice too my young ears. One piece of advice he passed on was in life you need two basic needs, a good bed and a good pair of shoes because if you are not in one you are in the other.
