Very light and thin. Nice looking Computer
Apple you get is what you pay for price tag ££I can't fault it excellent computer for business and home use. The reason I purchased this computer because it had good reviews and good specifications and I hate Windows computers and plus it was on a 5 monthly payment plan. :-) The only one thing is disappointing is the choice of Apps in the Apple Store and you have to pay for them 👎but day to day operations good 👍

I have used a MBA 2013 model year, for a number of years.
This latest iteration shows just what evolution can do, in a relatively short timeframe; in most ways, the new model MBA is not necessarily superior - more polished say, than it's older sibling; with the exception of the clickety-click, 'Bingo' keyboard. I'll no doubt get used to it, given time - but it does tend to disturb the sangfroid of the overall experience. A minor niggle maybe; but I am still like a kid with a new toy - whilst the old 'toy,' will not be confined to the back of the cupboard, for a long while yet.

Great for web browsing etc
This is the 2nd 2019 MacBook air I have purchased, the second one being for my wife ( lucky lady I know lol ).Can’t fault them in any way. Built quality is spot on.I would say they are perfect for word documents and web browsing, maybe some light photo/video editing as well. If your looking for a MacBook pacifically for making/ editing I would go for the MacBook Pro line.Spot on again Apple.

Slick but no concessions to Windows emigrants
Fantastic screen, superb sound and microphone (luckily since the headset socket is a non-standard size), amazing battery life, very fast to boot up and close down, and of course lightweight despite the metal case. I also like the illuminated keypad. So far so Apple. What I don't like: unlike on the previous Macbooks, the only ports are 2 own-brand specialities so if you want to use USB-C, SD-cards etc for peripherals you will have to buy fairly expensive adaptors and it's hard to find one that does everything, so you have a nice minimalist compact laptop but have to carry around a box of accessories. The charger is also a clumsy affair and if you travel you'll need another one of those for EU as it's too heavy to use with a main adapter safely. Because of the tiny bevel and the thin screen, it's impossible to open or adjust it without getting finger smudges on the screen, and they really show with it being so glossy. The much-vaunted fingerprint unlocking? Works great - AFTER you have keyed in your password!! Dohh...As a previous Windows user I expected a learning curve but was disappointed to find this much steeper than necessary. A lot of commands depend on simultaneous key combinations including 1, 2 or even 3 of the 4 'command' keys bottom left which are identified by Applish symbols. Some of these replace much simpler one-key Windows operations and their assignment to different functions seems to be entirely random, such that neither logic nor intuition is helping me to learn them. The biggest surprise though, given the idiosyncracies of the MAcOS, has been the lack of onboard help. Siri is a joke and has never done a single thing I asked it to do, the Help menu is tiny and even the Mac website is glossy and stylish but has almost no useful info that I can find. After a month's daily use I find myself on Google every day searching for how to do many simple things. I like the MacBook but will keep it for travelling and basic things like word processing and web browsing. My Windows comptuter stays on the desk for anything more demanding like typing Amazon reviews!

Latest Apple-designed keyboard....well...run a mile...
Latest Apple-designed keyboard...whenever you see that run a mile...the butterfly system does not work, keys get stuck, does not respond...and when you think back of your old macbook Air or pro you feel like starting to cry... After 3 months of nightmare I had to return my Macbook Air 13. As always Amazon's service superb and they just gave me the refund. Then I had to buy an old MacBook Air 2017 (which is the latest before they switched to this butterfly nonsense) and it is back to the same exquisite keyboad as I was used to on my Macbook air 2011... Amazon top company and service but Apple, really.... selling this machines with known problems...they even propose to change it free of charge...but for what? the same butterfly...you guessed it...

Just Buy It
Best laptop in the planet. So slick in design and so fast with no lag. Just looks beautiful as well that sometimes you just don’t want to put it down. Pricey tag for the brand but that’s what you pay premium for. Can’t fault it in any way.
