Mattel BTS 11-in j-hope Fashion Doll, Based on Bangtan Boys Global Boy Band, Highly Articulated Figure, Toy for Boys and Girls Age 6 and Up.

Looks very good, not exactly as advertised but still very good. I got it on sale so it was worth the price I paid. It doesn't look cheaply made. It looks pretty durable (for the way my daughter plays with her dolls) lol. There's a lot of detail to the clothing. I think this is nice as a gift, a collectible or as a doll for a child to play with. Over all, it's a very nice doll.

As a BTS fan and doll collector, I was glad that Mattel made these dolls -- they use the same body mold as the 2016 Monster High boy dolls, and are fully articulated at the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, upper leg, knee, and ankle. By accident, I discovered that you can remove the hand (like the Monster High and Ever After High dolls) to change clothing, but it's difficult to get there ball joint back in, so if you're getting this for a younger child (I"m an adult collector), they might break it, so be careful (or don't tell them at all). The hair is fully rooted, and styled in the manner worn by the members in their IDOL music video, as are their outfits. J-Hope's shirt is not separate from the jacket, btw. PROS: the doll can stand on it's own, is poseable, and the outfit/hairstyle is true to detail for the IDOL music video. CONS: the shirt is sewn to the jacket, and there aren't any other outfits for these dolls. They do fit the slim version of Barbie's Ken dolls clothing (pants are too wide at hip, though), and if you have any Monster High /Ever After High clothing, they will fit those as well. Shoes -- Ken doll shoes are too small, they will fit MH/EAH boys shoes but be careful you don't break the ankle joint, because some of them are tight fits (I found Hunter Huntsmans' boots to fit very well, if you're careful putting them on/taking them off). I do wish that the expressions/face molds matched the members more, and that the heights were different, as they're all of different heights. Right now they all sort of have the same look on their faces. But given that this is the more affordable doll line of the members, it's pretty well made, and I'd recommend it. Mattel needs to make more clothing/shoes for them, though.

Kudos to Mattel and the doll designers for keeping these BTS dolls inexpensive while putting every cent into dolls. No extra accessories, no fancy box (I hate clam-shells), no write ups, or extra photos on the box---just a phenomenal doll. With seven dolls in the set, it is certainly appreciated by the BTS Army. Robots have certainly gotten more talented pulling off detailed hair styles and face painting. They are extraordinary. I love the long 70's style collar on j-hope. The sneakers are well molded and have different left and right shoes. The clothing is a good match to the IDOL video and seem durable. They've streamlined the designs to eliminate separate shirts, yet all the clothing is removable and the dolls are very playable. My only criticisms of the BTS dolls in general are the torso, neck, and hip articulation. Hips only go forward and backward, neck doesn't tilt up (just down and side to side), and the body is stiff so the doll can't bend forward or twist. They'd be better dancers if they articulated better. Ankle joints and feet are excellent. The doll is easy to stand, even barefoot. If you can afford it, I recommend getting two of your favorite while you can. One to open for playing. One to keep pristine in the package as a collectable.

I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! This is the BEST $10 I have EVER spent!!! He is VERY accurate to Hobi IRL!! They also captured his cheekbones VERY WELL!!! I also LOVE his Idol outfit! He looks SO handsome!!! I also LOVE the fact that he's POSEABLE as well!!! The box came crushed at the bottom but it didn't bother me as I had already planned on throwing the box away as I always do. He is a tad bit stiff in his suit when it comes to posing him and he also doesn't fit Ken doll clothes. He's too smol LOL. And girls... he has a 6 pack!!! so if he's your bias 100,000% order him!!! He's not my bias Suga is however he is a GREAT start for me and goes SO GOOD with my lil' BTS corner!!!

so I bought this to practice doll repaints. The face paint is printed so its harder to remove than the average mattel brand doll but the body and face is sculpted very nicely. The packaging came in was broken but i dont really mind that. The clothes are the typical average barbie fabric and the shirt and jacket are not two pieces but one. Unfortunate U-U but anyway the hair is extremely waxy stiff but after a lil wash its pretty floofy. For the price of 9$ its a good doll to practice repaints and such, if you want to play with this or collect it's an questionable investment. :/

The doll is of a pretty good quality, unfortunately the packaging came damaged(the doll is unharmed). I got it for the laughs because some friends and I found a particularly funny headline for a post about j-hope. Safe to say he will be cherished alongside all the rest of my little dolls!

I'll preface this review by saying I don't know a thing about BTS. I bought this doll because I needed more poseable male dolls in my collection and he was a good price - a little over $6. At first I thought the product photos looked super creepy but due to the price and the need for another male doll I went ahead and got him. I'm happy to say he's adorable in person! I love his hair style, but it's a little annoying that it can easily get out of shape. The articulation is wonderful! He holds his poses very well.

They’re all really good quality! If you’re interested in how the clothing is.. the jackets and the shirts are connected as one piece of clothing. So far I don’t know how to take Jin and Jimins clothing off (I know that sounds weird but my sister and I just wanted to put them in our old Barbie clothes! Which they fit!) they have very good joints and pose very well!

Is not very similar to j hope but it's getting close... The Body Is good quality with good joints .. nice clothes but not good enough quality .. Shoes are ok .... Hair is decent... like it and is at a cheap price ... I have listened to some BTS songs but I'm not a fan ... But I wanted another nice Asian doll among mine dolls ... and now I have to complete the collection ... Also i will probably do a hair rerute ect... And make new clothes..
