Adams & Brooks Coffee Rio Variety: One 2 lb Assorted Bag in a BlackTie Box

I hate the stupid headline required. What's lacking is there is no Raspberry Mocha at all. Not even one piece, so it shouldn't be even mentioned. There is the Caffe Latte, Kona, Irish Creme Mint and Original in 2 different wrappers that say either Caffe Caramel or Caramel Coffee depending on the whether it's the new wrapper or the old one. What I did receive was approximately, roughly equally divided with noticeably fewer of the Latte flavor. Except for the Irish Mint flavor, they all taste pretty much the same. The package arrived on time and the candy seems fresh to me. Other than the missing flavor, it's fine. I would buy again, knowing that there are only four flavors, not five.

First off, I thought these were supposed to be caramels --ie softer than hard candy. The ones I got have the consistency of a hard candy which you can chew somewhat once you break them up in your mouth. I like hard caramel, but these are way past that. I wonder if this is the norm?Still, the flavor is good. They don't taste stale.And I received all five flavor variants, unlike some other posters.UPDATE: I wanted to find out if there were better brands of coffee candy out there. I bought and tried on Amazon the following: Hopjes, Bali's Best, Kopiko, and Cocomel's Espresso, to compare. None even came close in fresh coffee flavor and potency of Coffee Rio. If they could make the Cocomo's Espresso twice as strong I might switch, but they don't.Update: I don't detect the slightest hint of raspberry in the raspberry ones. Maybe they were mis-wrapped.Update: After about seven months I like these even more. Sugar is hydrophilic, so they have become softer with time.

I really love these coffee candies, but I am a little disappointed that the flavors don't actually have much flavor. It really hard to tell the difference from one to another. Also, my bag had absolutely none of the mocha raspberry - just a single empty wrapper for that flavor. Honestly, I regret spending 14.99 for these when I can the 12oz bags from trader joes for 2.99. The original flavor coffee caramels are amazing, but I will not make the mistake of buying the flavors at higher prices like this again.

There were 5 different colors/flavors, but not as described. Kona Island, Carmel Caffee, Irish Creme Mint, Coffee Carmel, and Caffee Latte. There were NO Raspberry anywhere. You would also have a really hard time convincing me there was a difference between the Coffee Carmel and Carmel Caffee besides a slight change of color in the wrapper. They taste good, disappointing variety.

This company sends a thank you when you order & offers to be of help if there is a problem.The box arrived today, Feb. 17, very well packed, no dents or scrapes or cuts. The candy tastes fresh. I do wish therewere more raspberry ones, very few in this order and the last 2 orders from a different company.I think I will order from Black Tie in the future.

From the moment I opened the bag the scent of coffee enveloped the air. Each individually wrapped candy giving off a distinct aroma which shortly after I realized was paired with a pleasant flavor. The sheer amount of candy is excellent, I use them as incentive during my classes and have already had a few student inquire about where I purchased them from. So long as you enjoy coffee these candies will certainly please your tastebuds. My only warning is that some of the candy likes to escape the wrapper approximately 4-5 pieces in total. Given the size of the package the matter of losing a handful of candies isn’t really all that much to complain about. Especially if you enjoy them as much as my students and myself have.

It is hard to find in the real world, most of the time it is tucked out of the way in a display and you can only find two flavors...now my go to source Black Tie 2lbs for of 5 assorted flavors...stuff I have only heard about, a whisper at night a note under the door...I mean raspberry mocha... will reorder..!

Would have gotten 5 stars if they had put any raspberry mocha in there, not a one! Just right for a nice little burst of coffee and sweet.
