CRAFTSMAN Shallow Socket, SAE, 3/8-Inch Drive, 1/2-Inch, 6-Point (CMMT43003)

Not much to say—this 15/16-inch shallow socket does exactly what it’s supposed to. The 6-point design grips securely and reduces the chance of rounding fasteners, which is great when working with older or stubborn bolts. It fits snugly on my 3/8-inch drive ratchet and has performed well under normal use. Like most Craftsman tools, the build quality feels solid and dependable. Socket works as it should very nice great price

I resorted to replacing both faucets on my barely one year old 80oz drink dispensers after discovering one of them had been leaking much too close to the largest surge protector power strip in my home. I did such a good job installing the original spigots that I was unable to loosen the nut on the inside of each of them. After not one of the suggestions of Amazon's usually very helpful Rufus' was practical, I recalled the sockets on my set of 1/4" drive sockets & searched for a 3/4" to fit that stubborn nut. For $5.88 & delivered the very next day, it was so much better from every standpoint since it worked quickly & also enabled me to tighten the new nut on each of the jars. Can't get much better than that!

This was purchased to finish a large set off. The good thing with the craftsman sockets is that in today’s world where everything is battery impact…I still feel like they can hold up. Good socket and really good price.
