Tough material.
This bag will hold anything you put in it. It was folded a weird way when it arrived, not like a paper bag would be folded, so it had creases in the wrong spots (the whole point is it’s supposed to resemble a paper bag, right?) I’m training it to get the creases right and don’t expect it will be a problem.

It's basically the size of paper grocery bag but indefinitely better
I bought 6 or 8 of these because I have small children and I feel like my whole life is nothing but plastic bags and I want nothing more to do with that. This are basically the size of paper grocery bag. So they hold roughly that many groceries. I'd say more though because you don't have the worry about them ripping and you can pack more in them. I was initially skeptical about the handles, but they have not failed yet and we've been using these about a year. They don't quite fold flat, but they're basically awesome so get over it. I give these two thumbs up and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a good reusable grocery bag.

Love these
I kind of feel chic using these, I love the look and the feel. They can seem a bit stiff, but that’s part of the appeal for me. They stand in their own when bagging which is a plus. I’m glad to replace the ten different shopping store reusable bags I had.

Love my new grocery bag!
Heavyweight canvas bag was a little too stiff for me at first but perfect after washing and fabric softer. Love this reusable grocery bag with handles that folds flat when not in use. Reminds me of the good old days when we all used brown paper bags before plastic overtook the world.

Love, love, love
Exactly what I was hoping for. I bought multiple for my grocery runs and every time I use them I get comments from the bagger on how nice they are

Updated review 9/3/23 Not like photo
The media could not be loaded. Updated review 9/3/23:Buy the other bag if you can…pass on this one.Okay, I kept this bag even though I like the green one I ordered from another seller on the same date much more…because it’s exponentially better in form, quality, and structure. I’ve used the green one nearly every day since I got it & for that reason it’s full of my stuff so I had to drag this one out to use for my little doggies items. So now I’ve had this bag for about 4-6 weeks and have used it a total of four times to carry my French bulldog’s towel & treats to my car from my front door, then a few feet from the car to the canvas wagon my pooch & I use to transport items like our blanket and water bottles from the parking lot to the waterfront during a few summer day trips to the lake by our home.Where my previous review was primarily made up of my initial thoughts on the visual aesthetic & feel of this bag, this update is in regards to my experiences with how the bag functions & its durability level during my use of the bag. Conclusion: It’s not only a sloppy looking bag that feels low quality, it also makes for a frustrating carrying experience —especially compared to the luxury of it’s structured green competitor that is used far more regularly than this item.please see photos and video of to gauge quality for yourself. My experience dictates that this bag is inferior to others at the same price point.Initial review upon receipt of the brown bag:Also not the measurements listed. It’s shaped like a small flat tote. Very dissatisfied with this as it does not match written description or photo description.

OK for carrying groceries, but insufficiently creased to fold up well.
This bag will do OK at carrying your groceries … but it is not the best among those available here at Amazon. The major shortcoming is that the bag is not sufficiently creased on its edges. That means it behaves as if it is more of a round bag than a rectangular bag. And that makes it hard to fold up neatly … or even fold up at all. Also, it lacks enough wax content to make the fabric thick & sturdy enough to "stand up and open" on its own. And that's a nice feature to have in a waxed canvas grocery bag. Also, the handles are NOT strengthened by double-layering the fabric, as is found in some of the competing products. The bag IS basically true to the color in its photos and the dimensions in the description is accurate. After comparing in-hand about five brands of these bags sold here on Amazon, I have found theHardfeel Waxed Canvas Grocery Bag (click here)to be the best current choice. It is about the same price as this Prime Line bag … better construction and plenty stiff enough to stand up on its own … so long as you do not mind a dark green as the color. Before that I owned and used TWO sets of theColony Co. Waxed Canvas Grocery Bag (click here). One set in khaki, one set in gray. (Gray now retired.) They were solid construction BUT, though they shouldn't have they seriously and easily stained with any exposure to moisture. They looked entirely 'ruined' after just a month or two of ownership. Their company website promised the gray ones were improved and would not stain that way, but they did. And they are 50% higher-in-price, to boot. Don't buy 'em.
