Modern Physics: The Quantum Physics of Atoms, Solids, and Nuclei: Third Edition (Dover Books on Physics) - Kindle edition by Sproull, Robert L., Phillips, W. Andrew. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Modern Physics: The Quantum Physics of Atoms, Solids, and Nuclei: Third Edition (Dover Books on Physics). Review: Very complete text book - The book is a very complete text on the subject of atomic structure. I'm using it for review in my spare time as I'm a retired physicist. Review: Very good book, print quality is not the best - I used an earlier edition of this book in graduate school at Stanford and it is an excellent introduction to quantum mechanics. Unfortunately, the print quality of this paper back is not the best - it is okay but the font is a little small and the type is a little light. For that reason, I also ordered the digital edition. It seems like they should have a package deal where you get both for reduced cost, but I didn't see one. Also, it appears the digital edition in only available in desertcart eBook format. When reading eBooks on Windows with desertcart's reader, you can't zoom figures and tables, so they are hard to read. I wish the digital version was available in some other format e.g. PDF. In summary, excellent content, marginal reproduction quality and marketing.

Prolisso, mai incisivo, troppe parole e pochi calcoli. Molto modesto, soprattutto se paragonato al classico Alonso-Finn, tanto per dirne uno. Nel settore, uno dei libri che mi sono piaciuti di gran lunga di meno
