He loves the gear and it looks sharp. The knee pads have great protection. He does like his samurai mask better than this one, but also likes this one.

Non-replaceable straps render guards worthless within a year
There are 2 riveted pleather straps that connect the knee guards to shin guards. Unfortunately, this prevents one from replacing the straps once they tear. All-Star warranty is only one year, so make sure you inspect them as you get close. All four of ours were showing the inside material (as you can see for one of the straps in the picture) within the year, but we didn't realize they would eventually rip.
