Get the Global ROM
This is a great phone! My only advice is that unless you read Chinese pay the extra for the global ROM. It will save time and hassles.

Awesome Flagship Alternative!
Simply Great Design and Performance on this sleek device. Probably not best for those with small hands. It's Definitely a heftier and larger phone than last year's Oppo Find X and I love that it skipped on the curved display (unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro and Samsungs). Only wish it was 1440p, but the 1080p OLED it has is vibrant and bright. The back cameras are very impressive (selfie cam is decent quality, but nothing special). 4k and HD video recording are both well done here with excellent stabilization. Oh and the haptic feedback on this thing is simply amazing! Like I've never ever felt anything like it when typing and I'm not speaking hyperbole here. It's such a pleasure and it's something I never thought I'd pay attention to or ever mention in a phone review, but wow.The external speakers are VERY LOUD even compared to my Huawei Mate 20X which has some of the richest dual speakers. It is a dream for media/movie consumers. The OS is skinned, but not too heavy over Android pie. It's different enough to be unique but not overwhelming. Oppo did an amazing job on this one and the Global Model is nothing like the Chinese version which doesn't play well with many Western apps or launchers. The 8gb/256gb model is now at a superb price so it's a no brainer for under 700 USD.Get it immediately, even if you're on the fence! You won't be disappointed if you like big phones and enjoy having a futuristic head turner of a device. Well, unless not having an IP rating or a 3.5mm jack is a deal breaker to you.
