Remote Tag RC3R Control System

In my specific application, this works perfectly. I use this as a 'backup' in case my IFTTT rules on my phone don't run. I don't carry this with me every day but I can see how the raised buttons would be easily depressed. The keyring is in the wrong location as well; someone failed design there. The icons on the buttons are so similar and not intuitive at all. Only an experienced iSmartAlarm user would be able to realize what button does what (and that's like from the same layout as the mobile app).But again, since this is my backup arm/disarm remote, it works fine for me.

I couldn’t get this to sync with my cube when I got it. Then the company went out of business in January which could explain it.Probably should not be selling these.

We bought this because the app would lock up and not let us arm/disarm for minutes. Unfortunately, whenever the system is locked up, it doesn't respond to the remote either. If if it did work reliably, the button are too tough to see in the dark and even in the light, its tough to see which button does what.

I brought a iSmart alarm system kit recently, and the Remote tag did not come with the kit, so I had to purchase it separately. But it was very easy to link with the rest of the items. I can arm or disarm the system before I get in the house, which make me feel safer. But to be honest this is cheaper if you go directly to the iSmart alarm website.

This is nice to give a friend who’s watching my house when I’m out of town, instead of allowing him access to my entire alarm system

The iSmartAlarm app doesn't see it, so I can't add it. No apparent reason, replacing the battery won't work. I contacted the customer service and will see what happens. In addition, it's very hard to replace battery, with tiny screws that need precision screwdriver and get easily worn off.

Soft button remote, so much better than the original.
