Great phone!
I really like this phone. My requirements were only that it work reliably and that setting it up would not cause me a lot of stress and it had to have a big display area. Not only were my requirements met but the phone is really fun. To be honest, my last phone was a three-year-old dinosaur LG smartphone and I delayed getting a new one because my last phone switch (on the same network no less) was an ordeal that I was in no hurry to repeat.Setting up this phone was a quick process, as it should be. I had a backup phone at the ready in case of problems, but to my surprise it wasn’t needed. Everything up and running lightning-fast, unlike the hours-long debacle of my last switch. Those familiar with LG phones (and those who aren’t) should have no trouble navigating the setup and customization process. As usual, the bloatware is annoying but unless you are brave enough to root your phone, you'll have to endure the useless apps. I can’t imagine ever needing “premium” voicemail and I had to go through a series of steps to get rid of a few recurring prompts. I’m pretty much all-text and for the few times I do get a voicemail I can access it the old-fashioned way.One negative is that as a Mac user I had to download an app in order to transfer media and photos to this phone. It failed after he first use but I reinstalled it and haven't had any issues so far. I do quite a bit of file transfers of photos and print media to the phone so I was a little disappointed at having to use a third-party app to do so. At least the app is free. The display is crisp and clear and the data speed and sound quality are much better than my old phone-no surprise there. The camera is pretty decent for a phone. I don’t expect to take National Geographic quality pictures with a cell phone but for on-the-fly fun shots it does a pretty good job.Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this phone-it’s nicer than I had anticipated and except for the file transfer compatibility issue, it's a lot of fun to use.

Pretty good, feature rich, great battery life, wish it had more RAM
I've had this phone for over 6 months now and have found it to be great for the price. It has a couple quirks here and there, but if you can deal with them then it works well. Most of them are software issues, as the hardware has been very solid.A couple in particular are:- For some reason if you try to use anything other than the LG keyboard sometimes it takes a long time for a keyboard to show up, and it keeps asking you for an input method.- The "desktop" can sometimes take awhile to load.- The camera on mine will occasionally stop. It doesn't happen on my wife's phone though (we both have the same phone).Highlights:- Battery just keeps going on this thing. Even with the backlight on for long periods of time it doesn't drain quickly.- Battery charging can be very fast! I think it has a fast charging circuit built in, so if you plug it into a charger that can supply enough current it can go from less than 30% to full charge in less than 2 hours.- Reasonably responsive. Not the fastest phone in the world (would be perfect with more RAM in my opinion), but pretty darn good for the price.- It has a flashlight widget! It seems so simple, but most phones don't include this, forcing you to download some other software that steals your personal info.- The pulldown menu lets you change important settings on the fly, and the included IR remote is pretty good too (if it has support for your devices and you can point it accurately enough).- I get a 4G connection (and sometimes 3G if 4G isn't available) where iPhone users can't even get a connection.- Bluetooth works well for music, and I've even tried out Miracast which works (though seems a bit laggy at times).- Solid construction has survived with no scratches to the screen even when in my pocket every day (with AERO ARMOR) case.Overall I'm happy with this phone, and went so far as to replace my wife's old phone with one of these as well (and she's pretty picky/vocal about how well her phone works).
