These are the absolute best. Perfect size for left-overs, especially with the snug-fitting lids. The French white is truly elegant. So versatile --oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Beautifully crafted and very sturdy; not prone to chipping or discoloring. I also bought these containers in other sizes (four of the smaller without covers and one larger with a cover) from the same Seller and am delighted with them, as well. They are a bit pricey, but are worth every penny. I had some Christmas present money left over, so I treated myself!

You’ll never get the lid unstained, but that’s what happens with plastic and grease. I love this bowl for heating up Progresso soup in the microwave. The whole can fits with room left for crackers and stirring. Heavy bowl keeps soup warm longer. The lid is great in the microwave because it “softens” a bit and isn’t tight-fitting, so it doesn’t explode off the bowl and spray soup everywhere. But it goes back to tight-fitting when it cools, so its great for storing leftovers in the fridge.

These are perfect and match my larger French white casserole set from a number of years ago. I wanted them for warming leftovers -- originally I bought 2 in the 16 oz size but decided to get these, too. I do use the 16 oz size but find these are a better size for me. Well made and they clean up well. I'm glad I bought them.

The tops on these small dishes are great -- very tight. I am taking dinners to a friend post-surgery and they are just the right size for individual portions. I can see they'll be great for storing things in the fridge -- you know, that half a can of cranberry sauce, left over potatoes. They are a size that fills a gap, not to tiny and not too big.

Great size for a family of two. Stove to table.

These corningware bowls are perfect for re-heating leftovers. They are easy to clean and store.

I've had these a couple of months and love them. They are great for dinners where my partner and I don't like eating the same ingredients, usually vegetables like onions and mushrooms where the flavors can bleed over when we try to make something half and half. It's also about the size of our standard meals so it makes a baked or roasted dish easy to cook and not much more to clean up. The plastic lids are a little hard and after the first wash in the top rack of the dishwasher came out warped. I could see them cracking with lots of use but, hopefully, I'm wrong.
