Great combo for a great price!
Had a DeWalt 18V drill driver for years, which worked fine. Was a bit nervous ordering this combo not knowing exactly how the drill driver would compare. I was very pleased with the lighter weight of the tools, but the performance blew me away. The higher capacity battery is all that’s needed to switch between the two tools (unless you do a lot more than average work with them). While the DeWalt drill driver met my expectations all those years, I can tell this combo will exceed then for a long time. Couldn’t be happier.

Great deal
Good tools for the average Joe homeowner. When you find these tools on sale the price can't be beat! I paid 108 for the two! You really can't go wrong for that price. Just get em!

Good value, missing a part
The circular saw did not include the hex key, which was annoying. Otherwise, relatively quiet and well-performing saw. The battery is bulky and the charger is huge. The charger itself is noisy and has a fan. I've never seen this with other cordless tools. Overall a good value. Often the drill + circular saw combo is cheaper than just the saw kit alone.

Value And Quality
Love the saw, it cuts great. I like the blade on the right. On the drill I like the speed control and the light. With the 4Ah battery and charger included the value can't be beat.

Received as it was described. Nice plastic. Good assembling.Did not use it yet, that is why did not rate the battery life, but looks promissory.

This saw doesn’t make the cut..
I purchased this item to trim some 2x4 deck boards on a pier we built..Cordless seemed ideal. No worries with water and electricity. I opened the item and fully charged the battery. Before I used it I noticed a loud rattle when testing it. I reached out to Skil they agreed after I tried using it there might be a problem. I was told to try it and get back to them. Well I tried it and the saw was not very good, it cut out while cutting then stated back up..making accurate cutting impossible. My final cuts looked terrible. The battery was dead after less than 60’ of lineal cuts..I reached back out to Skil and was told this saw is on back order and I might want to reach out to Amazon for replacement..BTW..the drill worked well.

Great value, great tools really impressed
I did a lot of research before buying this was between this set and the Craftsman one, between the battery costs and the brushless motors this set was a no brainer. Quick charging, good power, I am hard on my tools and I am really impressed..
