After hours of trying to find solar lights for our driveway that I thought might be sufficiently bright, I decided to give these lights a try. We installed one on each side of our garage and installation was simple. I did not want to run electrical to install typical lighting, making solar lights a great option. Also, my home in California faces south, meaning there is full sun on these lights all day, as long as the sun is shining. While these lights are not quite as bright as my neighbor's hardwired lantern lights, they are pretty close and sufficient for providing light to our driveway and (small) front yard. I also love that the design is different and my lights do not look like any others on our street, but still look great. Our house also is where the children end up playing together outside so I like the fact that the bulb cover is plastic, not glass. If it is hit with something, it is much more likely to survive. Shipping was fast as well. I'm very happy with these lights and I would buy them again.

These look really nice & worked well for months. However after about 8 months they started having issues.

The GamaSonic solar light outdoor sconce is a unique item. It's retro appearance and soft light adds to the appeal of my yard. The unique aspect of this product is that the body of the sconce is the solar panel. There are no ugly panels and wiring to deal with. It does have an issue that a purchaser may need to be aware of. I mounted this item on my shed's north-facing main entrance as shown in the photo. The batteries lasted three days and operated as described; dusk to dawn. On the fourth day, the sconce only stayed illuminated from dusk to about 1:30 A.M. It operated in this manner ever since. I figure that the unit is getting insufficient charge being that it faces north and is blocked from direct sunlight by the shed. With that said it would be better if this item is mounted in a spot facing south and is unobstructed from getting direct sunlight.

When I first received this light it stayed on from 6 pm to 4 am and I was thrilled. This lasted for 2 weeks max. Now I can only expect it to last a maximum of 4 hours and will turn off before midnight with California daylight savings time. The light is placed in full direct sunlight throughout the day and I have cleaned the solar panel. I would expect more for the price I paid for this light.

low setting will stay on all night but high setting will stay on till about 4am or so with lot of sunshine. not alot of difference in brighteness between either setting so i leave it on the lower setting since its almost as bright. 2nd one i ordered just as good as the first one.

I wanted a large solar light for my shed. I bought 2 of these lights and thr size is just what I wanted. Nicely made and they were easy to hang.

It isn’t the brightest light ever, but it looks great and gives off enough light to enjoy the deck without being blinded

Ordered 2. One worked, one didn’t. Received a replacement. Got them hung. They look nice but only stay on for an hour tops. Not worth the price.
