The costume fit snugly. I suggest ordering the size you normally would. For the reviews saying costume runs big, that I can only see being true if you are under 5'7 and super thin/not very curvy. If you are curvy order the size you normally would. This costume is geared for shorter people. (I'm 5'11, 170lb normal clothing size 11-13)it comes short on me. Id recommend a body shaper/corsette Underneath. I used a body shaper, and now am very happy with the costume. (very clingy shows everything) I am pairing it with black leggings and boots. It is too short to go without leggings. Great costume for the price I paid ($28) no holes, no rips, no stains. Did smell like plastic but after 1 wash that went away. Gold sewn in wrist bands are tight. I took those off and the arms are much better now. Costume looks great I already know it's going to be a hit ! Def recommend it if you can get it for under 30. Very sexy nerd costume.

I purchased this product for a Halloween party; I will be going as femme Spock. Obviously it's not 100% accurate (1 wrist strip instead of 2, and the color of the insignia is a little off), but it will suit my purposes. I'm actually a cosplayer and usually make my own costumes, but who wants to wear an expensive, handmade costume to a rowdy party? No thank you. Plus I'm in medical school now, so buying this was a great alternative.Now for measurements (No shame ladies! Measurements help reviews!):Height 5'1"Weight: 116 lbsBust: 34"Waist: 27"Hips: 36"The EXTRA SMALL (X-Small) fit me like a glove. My butt ensures that the dress it a little too short in the back though, so I'll be wearing leggings underneath. On the bag the X-Small lists dress sizes 2-6 (I'm about a 4, 5 in pants sizes). This may be a little tight on a size 6. The sleeves tend to ride up a little and the cuff rests above my wrists most of the time, but I don't mind that. The armpits are a little fabric heavy, but it's not really noticeable.I debated for about an hour whether to buy the X-Small or the Small, and I'm extremely happy that I went with the X-Small. The size chart posted is not very accurate, so consider that if you decide to purchase this costume.Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Live long and prosper lovelies!

I'm 5'7" 140 lbs (B cup), usually a size 6 dress, and I ordered a Small. I think it fits pretty well for a costume, glad I didn't go for a different size. It's cut for women with some waist:hip curviness, so just be aware of that.It fits great around my midsection and hips/butt. The underarm and upper-arm area is really baggy though, I have no idea what shape of woman would have arms to fill that out. The back was kind of baggy too, I'll probably try to get it altered. The sleeves were also a bit short on me, more like the model than the customer pic that has been uploaded. It feels weird because it's so unlike normal clothes, but I think that might have been on purpose. Some other reviewers commented that the dress was longer than on the model for them, but that was not the case for me - definitely a mini-dress. It also shows underwear lines very easily. And my black neck trim doesn't stand up nearly as much as the uploaded customer pic shows, it's actually quite floppy.

A little disappointed with the costume when I got it in the mail yesterday. It is tailored strangely so that there's a lot of extra material under the arms, though its nothing a little altering won't fix. My biggest disappointment was even though this item was suppose to be new and un-used but there's a large stain on the sleeve. Its large enough of a stain that its easily notices even at a distance.The material isn't the best quality and the length is perfect for wearing to work but because of the material (or possibly the horrible wrinkles) the back of the dress tends to creep up when walking or moving.The neckline of this dress is also very strange and not as pictured. The neck is a lot wider than pictured and if it wasn't for the wrinkled and rolled mess that is the black collar, it would easily fall of my shoulders. Due to the material its made out of, its not very forgiving and if you have any curves, (like myself and most women have) you may need to invest in a shaper.If I had plenty of time, I'd return it and order a replacement but I don't want to risk not having enough time to do any altering if needed. I believe if I use some steam (not an iron) to release the wrinkles, spot treat the stain on the sleeve, take in the sides under the arms and possibly remove the black collar and replace with a simple black turtle neck and get a seamless shaper, it'll be perfect (except for the cheap looking star fleet patch.) I also may need to sew some bits of wire into the bottom hem in the back of the dress if getting rid of the wrinkles and the shaper doesn't keep it from creeping up. I'm hoping a little extra weight will hold it down.Final words on this product: Do not purchase if you want a ready to wear costume. I would say its is a good base to work off of but if you're afraid of altering and aren't creative finding fixes for its many faults I would suggest you find another costume.I would have rated this two stars but I have it an extra star because I'm almost positive it will turn out amazing once I get the alterations done.

Le extra small est asez petit donc j'ai commandé le small. Le small est trop frand...donc je vais garder le extra small....je dois retourner deux robes car lors de la première commande, deux extra small son vevue??? peut--être que j'ai mal pitonné quelque chose. Nous allons avoir un gros party tous déguisé en star trek donc satisfaite de la rapidité et de la qualité de la robe.

Slightly to big on the top, and had a rip under the arm. Was a quick fix but was slightly annoyed. Great though. Just what I needed for cosplay

Size fit perfectly. Pretty good quality for a Halloween costume. I recommend.
