We call this the magic brush. It get through the kids tangles without tears. I will say the bristles are really sharp so be careful in the scalp. They complain it hurts there so just brush gently there. It also makes curly hair a bit frizzy but we usually do it when wet.

Used this brand before and my partner has taken me to task for using her old wooden handle one. Form and function. Ergonomically effortless. Nice scalp feel and detangles my now longer Covid hair style with ease. When I go back to a barber shop it should do as well with a shorter style as its older cousin did when I used it. Great investment in a quality made product.

I can't stop brushing my hair with this brush. I love this brush. It conforms to my head and feels great on the scalp. I have fine long hair that tangles easy and this brush really smooths out the hair without making my hair puffy. My hair looks smooth and polished. I am going to buy another one to have as extra for backup.

Very scratchy on the scalp. If you have a more sensitive scalp this brush is terrible. I could not stand it. The plastic bristles are hard and rough. Not good. Other than that the boar bristles seemed good quality and the hand feel was good. My daughter who doesn’t have a sensitive scalp hates the scratchiness as well. Returned.

Brush is a good size, and has both boar and nylon bristles. The nylon bristles would be okay if they had ball tips instead of straight and sharp ones. It makes the brush scratchy with this kind of bristle.

Wanted a mason Pearson brush but I couldn’t afford one so I bought this as a more affordable dupe. I ended up being given a MP brush (right) for Christmas so I can easily compare them now. I have waist length average thickness hair with a slight wave. This brush (left) has nylon bristles that are not rounded at the end leaving it sharp and scratchy when I brush. The boar bristle part is much thicker and lower quality bristles than the MP and already have “split ends.” When I brush it doesn’t penetrate through the hair well and doesn’t pull through super smoothly like the MP does. Overall it’s probably a fine brush in its own reguard and a much more affordable price, but it’s not a good dupe if you’re looking for one

Brush is very gentle & easy to brush through hair. Liked it so well I ordered one for my daughter & daughter in-law for Christmas. Great price.
