Been using for a few years & cleans well, both cats & dog
I've been using this for several years on all three pets. It cleans their ears well & they don't seem to mind it. Gave a 5 rating coz I've found nothing better yet. Something better may be out there, I just don't know what. Our dobie's right ear is "broken" (original parents didn't leave them both up long enough) & it seems to collect more debris/dirt than the one that stands up, use it about 2x's per mo. Cats don't go outside so I don't use it often. If I see them scratching their ear(s) I use it & they don't really like me doing it but they let me, then go for months on end without needing anything more.

works on my dog's dirty ears
my puppy's ear get dirty and irritated easily, this cleans them well and relieves discomfort. A bit runny, so I apply it to a soft cleansing pad and wipe out the ears.

This is a fabulous mild ear wash and perfect to use regularly
English Springer Spaniels are so prone to ear infections. I've found the drying ear cleaners are way too harsh. The apple cider vinegar in this product will kill yeast and maintain pH; the marigold (calendula) is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal (Per Tilford, "Herbs For Pets"); the chamomile is also antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing. This is a fabulous mild ear wash and perfect to use regularly. First changing the diet of my Rescue Springers was necessary to get at the root cause of the infections.

Alcohol free/Natural ingredients
I have used this product for 20+ years. It is gentle and effective. I now use it weekly on my 10mo. old puppy for general ear health/maintenance. It is a relatively small bottle for the price, but I have found that 5-7 drops on a cotton ball per ear is enough to swab the canal. A little goes a long way.
